About the Artist

Fernando Brizuela

Fernando Brizuela (Buenos Aires, Argentina, b. 1971) is a contemporary visual artist whose work explores conflict, contradiction, and the fragile boundaries between nature, culture, and power.

Trained at the National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredón, Brizuela has developed a distinctive visual language that merges seductive imagery with unsettling themes. His practice centers on symbolic beasts, altered landscapes, and organic forms that challenge dominant ideas of beauty, control, and social order.

Brizuela has exhibited in major museums and cultural institutions across Latin America, North America, and Europe, including MALBA, Fundación PROA, and Casa Nacional del Bicentenario. His works are held in private collections worldwide.

Through Bud Beasts, Brizuela translates conceptual depth into collectible sculptures—contemporary totems that function as both art objects and interior statements.
